Banana Bread Ingredients:
- Flour: 2 cups of all-purpose flour provide structure.
- Baking soda: 1 teaspoon acts as a leavener to help the bread rise.
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon enhances the overall flavor.
- Butter: 1/2 cup (softened) adds richness and moisture.
- Brown sugar: 3/4 cup for sweetness and a hint of warmth.
- Eggs: 2 large eggs, beaten, act as a binding agent.
- Bananas: 2 1/3 cups of mashed overripe bananas are the star ingredient.
Directions:
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Prepare wet ingredients: In a separate large bowl, beat the brown sugar and butter with an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in the eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.
- Combine mixtures: Gently fold the banana mixture into the flour mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the bread tender.
- Transfer batter: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.

- Bake: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
